Maria Sharapova: from New York, to Paris, to London

Although she's out of Wimbledon, Maria Sharapova is still my favorite tennis player. I admire her skills, but I also admire her style. Here are some of my favorite tennis outfits. 

NEW YORK

At the US Open in Queens, Maria's "night dress" by Nike (her sponsor) was absolutely stunning. I like to call this little number the little-black-dress-of-tennis. Maria said: "The whole inspiration for the night dress was Audrey Hepburn. I'm really inspired by her. I'm in a phase where I'm watching all of her movies." This dress was also put up for an auction... and not to mention the matching caplet. 

PARIS

At the French Open, Maria was fashionably dressed in a feminine deep blue mesh dress. I would just love to play tennis in this. 

LONDON

Still, even with the white dress code at Wimbledon, Maria Sharapova manages to stand out on the court in this white dress with pleats. 

Airport Fashion- Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Matches!

Speaking of airport, I am actually flying in less than 2 days to Thailand! I am having trouble deciding what to wear on Thursday night. I need something comfortable and nice. Going through my wardrobe, I have picked out some suitable traveling outfit. Here’s my pink Abercrombie and Fitch pink T-shirt, with my jean shorts!

Black and white party outfit

Ladies are more into the classical aspect? You like black and white and also gray? These colors may be dull if you don`t put something to give life to the outfit…. You can wear such combinations: black, white gray, but try to put a little color, you`ll look great!



Let`s begin from the underwear, you may want to wear a sexy due-piece, it will make you feel confident in you and will reveal the sexiness! It doesn`t matter that no one will see you in this sexy underwear, it only matters how it makes you feel!

Want to look elegant? Well, try a gray dress, not too short, not too long with a black with white elements jacket! Another important accessory are the gloves, you can play now with colors, use the basic black or white, determining you to be dull, or you can use a blue, red or any other nuance to get out of the combination black-white-gray!

Finished Shorts (Clothes Design Class)

I finished the pair of shorts I talked about and here are the pictures. I cut the pair of jeans using a measuring tape to measure how long I wanted and a binder so I could get the line straight. Then I used Crayola fabric markers to make designs around the pockets and used an iron like the package says to set the designs. 

 

I made a sash and put dots on it and ironed that too. Then I used magenta thread and a straight stitch around the bottoms of the shorts so they would only fray up to the stitch. That was it! What do you think?

 

 

 

 

 

 

Finished Shirt (Clothes Design Class)

Hello!

 

I finished the top I was working on last week that is made out of knit fabric and here are the pictures! I think it turned out great. I looks really good with a wide belt over it. My favourite part of making this was that I learned how to make patterns for tops.

I also made a smaller version for my Barbie because I had extra fabric. I know that I'm a tiny little bit old to play with Barbies but they make really good clothes models if you have an idea you want to try out but you don't want to use a whole lot of fabric. I also made a dress for my Barbie using the same idea from the shirt only making it long enough to be a dress.
