Leila Hafzi’s Wild Collection

What would happen if the wild animals are made to do cat walk instead of beautiful and sexy female models?

It is indeed difficult to make them walk around showing their skin, so Leila Hafzi collection introduced hot and sexy models wearing clothes showing almost every animal imaginable. These animals included tigers, horses, leopards, peacocks, fish, monkeys, etc.

It was a wonderful collection depicting different types of dresses like bubble dresses, baby doll dresses, long knitted, toga inspired dresses, etc.

This was probably the first step towards bringing the animals on the stage for modeling.

In the next step, the real wild animals will wear the girls clothing and do cat walk on the stage. Wonderful idea, isn’t it?

Whether the idea was good or not, but in the Leila Hafzi Spring Collection 2009, they gave a fabulous dress for every occasion with individuality.

Can frilly Lily tempt you into Marks & Spencer?

There has been a gap in the market for affordable, trend-led clothes with everyday wearability for a couple of seasons now.

Topshop used to provide this service but since its obsession with Kate Moss, and specifically after her collection for the store first appeared, the rest of the brand has suffered.

It seems that high street rival Marks & Spencer has picked up where the Arcadia Group's jewel-in-the-crown left off with its spring-summer Limited Collection range.

M&S has chosen London model Lily Cole to appear in these exclusive campaign shots that will go in the March issue of British Vogue, on sale from Monday.

The collection, including accessories, is going into stores between now and the end of next month.

The fashion industry has already caught on to the allure of the slightly younger and more fashionable Limited Collection from M&S, and chief executive Sir Stuart Rose will hope the public agrees.

"The high street appears to be having a tough time, but it looks as though M&S's spring/summer 2008 collection has some key pieces that you really will lust after. There is a great double-breasted navy pea coat, as well as a bag that echoes the look of the YSL Downtown, and a great red patent-leather jacket - certainly a bit of a must-have, and something that members of our department have already got their eyes on."

"I like the big white boyfriend shirt and long cardigan and I love the blue mac. I like the way a lot of the pieces are on-trend while still being individual, which I think is very clever. The collection is very wearable and the quality and finish are both good. I also like their ethical aspirations and plans to introduce more organic and Fairtrade items to the range. Yes, fashion is fundamentally about style and quality but it's great if it's responsible too."

"I think the trick with shopping at Limited Collection is to go for well-cut, good-quality basics. These can be added to your wardrobe and mixed in with more high-end pieces rather than the obvious items that you know everyone else and their auntie will be wearing. I bought a black, silk oversized parka there last winter (very Hamnett) that I wore constantly, and from the summer collection a black cotton billowing shirt which is great for holidays. Recently I've spotted a black, micro-miniskirt that will look great with flat boots and a chunky knit."
